We would like to thank Elsa Berg, Angela Djurhuus, Hans Meinhard í Eyðansstovu, Hjørdis Jensen, Steffan Joensen, Eva Kjæld Hansen, Súsanna Leo Bech, Bjørt í Niðristovu, Selma Tausen Olsen & Mathilde J. Østergaard for assistance in the field and sorting of invertebrate samples. Some additional experts identified and confirmed invertebrate material: Arne Fjellberg (Collembola), Jeremy Huebner (Diapriidae), Jonathan Vogel (Figitidae), Santiago Jaume-Schinkel (Psychodidae) and others. Thomas Pape and Jan Pedersen at the Denmark Natural History Museum verified some new records of Diptera and Coleoptera, respectively. Thanks to the helicopter pilots at Atlantic Airways for making some extra effort to get us on and off the island in bad weather conditions.</acknowledgements>
