Description

Database of specimens of true bugs belonging to the superfamilies Pentatomoidea, Coreoidea and Pyrrhocoroidea. The specimens are kept in Natural History Museum in Aarhus and Natural History Museum of Denmark (SNM) in Copenhagen - as well as in a few private collections. The major part of the specimens are included in an atlas survey by Søren Tolsgaard in the period 1992-2000. a private collection, but some are deposited in the Natural History Museum, Aarhus, Denmark. The database includes a few records from other European countries.

The data in this occurrence resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 9,577 records.
